Who Me?
Well, I’m just a young and independent Hispana who was born in the heart of Cuba and raised in Miami. Growing up in paradise, I still got myself a college degree, and I developed my passion for all things business and art. I have two mini unicorns named Arlo and Yetti, and a tiny lion named Binx. I have a beautiful wife whose eyes are pretty famous in the lash world.
Why did your mom tell the bus driver to drop you off at the salon?
My earliest memory as a child was when I was ten. Another little girl on my school bus asked me this question, and the truth was, the salon was my after school program. My mom had become a nail artist shortly after we immigrated to Florida from Cuba in 1994. Being exposed to the beauty industry so young gave me a creative outlet that turned into my favorite kind of art to create. Especially once I noticed what an Xcape beauty is for women and the power behind promoting self-care.

The ten-year-old me doing nail art on her mom clients’ nails was going to be in the beauty industry someday. I was having so much fun doing it that I never thought to make it my career. I fell in love with lashes the moment I picked up a pair of tweezers on October 3rd, 2015. I am a five-time certified eyelash technician and have traveled all around to attain these certifications by las mejores in this industry. Then eyebrows just came as second nature, and I’ve been in love with framing the face ever since!

I need to have a nerd moment because I won this cool award, which is like winning a Grammy award for pestañas called, Victoires du Regard Eyelash Extension World Championship. I am second in the United States and 14th in the world. Competing is something I’m looking to get into more, and continuing to push myself to be the absolute best I can be!
