The season came and went, am I right?
Shopping, cooking, prepping, etc. it all felt so rushed this year. Who else swore they would start Christmas shopping in the Summer? I sure did!
Since I was asked what I wanted as a gift about twenty-five times by clients, I have decided to make a Christmas gifting list.
This will make it that much easier for you guys this year because Christmas can be a guessing game, especially if you don’t know the person on a personal level. You would think service providers like me would have the advantage of gift receiving because our clients spend so much time with us, but sometimes people get so wrong.
Here are five gifts you can personalize, and your beautician will love!
#1 G I F T C A R D S
I know, I know “how basic,” but believe it, or not everyone loves a good gift card! Going to a place knowing you can get something without paying with your own money, or even getting some $$$ shaved off the bill has such a warm feeling. Name a time you used a gift card and didn’t smile while checking out? Exactly! I would say, opt-out of a specific one, unless you know exactly where they shop.
Although, if you’re anything like me, a gift card is never an option. It feels like an afterthought, so let’s move right along, shall we? If not a gift card, just goes for an extra tip!
#2 C H O C O L A T E
This might be a selfish one, but I mean honestly, who hates chocolate?
In my head, this is a gift that keeps on giving. They can share amongst their families, and even with other clients. Cookies, candy, anything sweet with a cheesy ass card will do wonders!

Okay, this is where you can get personal and make it to your liking. A face mask, creams, nail polish, candles, body butter, scrubs, bath bombs, and a nice holiday card all can go in a basket. It’s such a cute way for your service provider to get to know you as well. Not only does it make your gift more personal, but it also makes it stand out.

This one is good if you don’t have the time to sit and buy a couple of different items to put it in a basket yourself. There are thousands of different subscription boxes, like Crate Joy. (https://www.cratejoy.com/) Honestly, this is always my back up idea! You pay anywhere from $10-$50 a box and get over 50% more in value. Seriously it’s a cute and creative way to gift something personalized.

Speaking of personalized gifts, the cool part about this one is items can range from $5 to $50. Last year, I got so many cute personalized mugs I even had a client personalize a phone case for me. It was the cutest thing ever, and it serves a dual purpose. Not only is it a cute little gift, but it also serves as a little bit of marketing. Think about it. You order your lash artist a cute lash shirt you saw online, and take it to the mall to get her name embroidered on it. When someone sees her wearing it, she gets a compliment and boom lash conversation waiting to happen!
This was so fun to do, and when I asked all my service providers, they came up with almost all the same ideas. Now you have five cute and simple gift ideas to turn into something super special for someone this holiday season!
